Athletics at the Augusta School District are an integral part of the educational experience. Athletics have the ability to unify a campus, and community, as student-athletes take to the field, court, and track, in pursuit of athletic excellence. The athletics program at AHS/AMS would not be able to operate without the hard work of our coaches, teachers, administration, custodial crew, and office staff. Most importantly, success begins with supportive families at home.
The proud tradition of Beaver Athletics is built on sportsmanship, cooperation and hard work. The support of our community allows us to provide a variety of sports for our student athletes to compete in. This variety provides students with important life lessons. Teamwork, commitment, self discipline and courage are traits Beaver athletes will carry into their future.
I am asking that you, as a spectator and fan, reinforce these standards when you interact with the opposing teams, coaches and officials. Beaver Nation appreciates your support!
