The Augusta Youth Football Association runs a flag football program each fall. The program includes a 2nd grade team, 3rd and 4th grade teams and 5th and 6th grade teams. Teams will compete in the Fall Creek league with games being played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The league will provide the flag belts. Each player will be required to purchase a jersey. Financial assistance is available if needed. Mouth guards will be provided by Augusta Football. Practices will be held during the week with times determined at a later date. Flag Football teams are affiliated with the Augusta Football Program so coaches and athletes will be held to the same expectations and guidelines set forth by the program. The Augusta Football Program holds themselves to high standards and strives to set a strong example of good character and respect for themselves and our community. Students, parents, and coaches involved in the Augusta Youth Football Association will be held to these same standards. The program will have two teams per level consisting of 10 student-athletes. This is not expected to be a place where winning is the ultimate goal. Players will be coached to learn how to play and enjoy football and what it means to be part of a team. Our intentions are for teams to be organized as evenly as possible which will allow students the opportunity to play all positions at some point in the season. Again, this Association is about the development of student-athletes and the Augusta Football Program. Negative attitudes, unsportsmanlike conduct, and poor representation of the community and the Augusta Football Program will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the league. If you and your child are interested in being a part of the Augusta Youth Football Association please complete the form at the link below. By signing, you and your child agree to follow the guidelines set forth by the Augusta Football Program as stated in the introductory letter. Again, unsportsmanlike conduct, inappropriate behavior towards coaches and officials, and anything that reflects poorly on the community of Augusta and the Augusta Football Program will not be tolerated and are grounds for dismissal from the league. If you choose to sign your child up, it is imperative that you and your child commit to ensure teams can participate in the entire season. Dedication is a big part of the Augusta Football Program. Also, it allows for a smoother process when creating teams. Once we have forms back we will look at numbers and make the teams based on the number of participants. If you have any questions please feel free to email Coach Boldt. dboldt@augusta.k12.wi.us 2024 Augusta Youth Flag Football Registration
